Hi, I’m Joanna Spiez—a landscape architect and artist living in Melbourne, Australia with my young family. I’ve loved drawing and painting since childhood, and even after nearly 20 years in design, I still find real joy and inspiration in putting pen or brush to paper.

My paintings are inspired by nature and the great outdoors—whether it’s the ocean coast, big mountain view, or the rural landscapes around Melbourne. As a mum, most of my adventures now happen closer to home, but I still find endless beauty in the everyday.

I create original artworks in acrylic, watercolour or pen, often turning my special places into custom paintings. I also offer prints—and will soon introduce other products—to make art accessible to a wider range of budgets. I believe that good art should be within everyone’s reach.

When I’m not painting or working on design projects, you’ll find me hiking around outer Melbourne with my kids, or planning my next European adventure.
